Le GIFs est un des formats d’image les plus vieux utilisé sur le Web. Tout au long de son histoire, il a servi a de multiples sujets, du fonctionnel au divertissement. Aujourd’hui, 25 ans après que le premier GIF ai été créé, il éprouve une explosion d’intérêt et d’innovation qui le pousse sur un terrain artistique. Dans cet épisode d’ OFF THE BOOK, on représente graphiquement son histoire, on explore le foyer de créativité du GIF sur Tumblr et interroge deux équipes d’artistes du GIF développant sa forme dans de puissantes nouvelles expériences visuelles.
